Packing:
If you decide to let us pack your goods for you, then there is no need for reading this part of the page about packing methods, - only if you are interested.
If you do the packaging alone, please do not forget, that a right packing can spare a lot of money for you.
Please read and try to follow our advices listed here:
- Sacks, carton boxes are right for packaging. (Nylon bags are in most of the cases not suitable )
- Carton boxes should be taped on their top & bottom.
- Please make a note outside of the packing about its contain ( whether it contains fragile / fluid / sensible items )
- Light things should be put into big carton boxes or into a sack. ( clothes, bed-clothes )
- Please pack heavy things in small-sized carton boxes (books, metal cans, machines, etc.)
- Fragile goods (glasses) are to be packed separately and put into small boxes, this way they will be in safety.
- Chandelier, lamps should be disassembled and also packed separately.
- Put the technical goods possibly into their original packing.
- If there are still unpacked things in your flat, we will take care of them.
By any time you can call us, if you have questions about the right packing method.
Moving:
- If you live in a housing estate or in a block of flats, please inform your neighbours, housemates, warden about the moving, because they can make our job more difficult. (There will remain no free parking place for the vehicle, lift out of order, etc.)
- At beginning of the work we will make the way free for us, fasten the doors or remove them if necessary. Of course before we leave the house, will put them back again.
- Children, neighbours, cats, dogs should not be in the flat if possible, because they can hold us up, slow down our work and can cause accident.
- To ensure a safe delivery of the goods, we will empty the flat in a certain order. (In special cases we can depart from it.)
Normally we do start to move the bigger furniture, so please make them ready for pick-up.
- If you would like to leave the foods in the refrigerator, freezer, please contact our colleagues at the site.
